Personal data

Privacy policy

Last updated: June 2026.

API-Air takes the protection of personal data seriously. This site is static: it offers no user account, no online form, and sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Data controller

The data controller is API-Air (EURL), Marseille, France. For any question about your data: contact@api-air.fr.

Data collected

The site collects no data without your knowledge. The only data processed is what you send us voluntarily by email:

  • Data: name, email address, and the content of your message.
  • Purpose: answering your request and following up on the exchange.
  • Legal basis: your enquiry and our legitimate interest in responding (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

No account creation, no collection form, no resale or transfer of data to third parties.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no tracking, profiling or advertising cookies, and therefore displays no consent banner.

Traffic is measured using a self-hosted Matomo instance running on our own European infrastructure. This measurement is anonymous and cookieless: IP addresses are anonymised, there is no cross-site tracking, and your browser's "Do Not Track" signal is respected. It benefits from the consent exemption set out in the French data protection authority's (CNIL) recommendations for audience measurement. The data stays hosted in the European Union and is never shared, cross-referenced or sold to third parties.

Retention

Emails exchanged are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then archived or deleted within 12 (twelve) months of the last contact.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (articles 15 to 22), you have the following rights over your data:

  • Access — obtain a copy of your data.
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured format.
  • Objection and restriction of processing.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@api-air.fr. We respond within one month.

Supervisory authority

If you believe the processing of your data is not compliant, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority — www.cnil.fr.

Hosting and security

The site is served over HTTPS and hosted in the European Union (see the legal notice). No data is transferred outside the EU as part of this site's operation.
