Music workshops & cultural action — young audiences

With the Cactus Box collective: a boundary-crossing approach at the meeting point of oral transmission (hip-hop, beatbox) and academic rigour (jazz, harmony), rooted in the pillars of Arts & Cultural Education (encounter, practise, make one's own). Goal: collective creation.

  • Module A — Musical architecture & songwriting: structure, arrangement, constrained writing, vocal harmonisation, polyrhythm
  • Module B — Sound narration & transmedia: acoustic sound design, foley, musical illustration, voicing a story
  • Module C — The spontaneous orchestra: conducting by signs (soundpainting-style), improvisation, autonomy and leadership

Audiences: school groups (cycles 2, 3, 4 & high school), music schools, community centres, underserved audiences.

Formats: awareness session (2-3 h), short workshop (1-2 days), Arts & Cultural Education programme (5-10 sessions) with a showcase or recording.
